Rappers are interesting people. When I was first asked to interview Fredro Starr of Onyx, I was excited… but a little nervous. From their music, they have a rep for being super aggressive.

It’s throwback Thursday at Power 105 and Sticky Fingaz and Fredro wokethefucup with the Breakfast Club. While discussing their early days and new project including meeting Jam Master Jay, Fredro’s upcoming battle with Keith Murray, things get heated when Charlamagne mentoned that Fredro got head from Brandy (8:00 mark).
Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr of Onyx visit the Breakfast Club and Fredro Starr and Charlamagne get into it because Fredro Starr was upset that Charlamagne brought up the fact Fredro said he got head from Brandy. Fredro brings up the fact Charlamagne got punched in the back of the head in front of the radio station and Charlamagne brings up the fact 50 Cent punched Fredro at the Billboard Awards and Fredro gets heated. Charlamagne Tha God is a radio presenter, television personality, and author who is best known as the co-host of the radio show The Breakfast Club alongside Raashaun “DJ Envy” Casey and Angela Yee. Charlamagne was born Lenard Larry McKelvey on June 29, 1978 to Larry Thomas McKelvey and Julie Ford McKelvey in Charleston, South Carolina. Growing up around Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Lenard McKelvey got involved in selling drugs and was arrested twice for possession of marijuana and cocaine. He was arrested a third time after he witnessed a shooting from the backseat of a car. He remained in jail for 41 days until his mother paid his bail.
After he was released from jail, McKelvey, a high school dropout, started attending night school where he took a job as a radio intern. His radio career expanded when he became second mic to radio media personality Wendy Williams on VH1.
