    How do you feel at 80?

    I thank the Almighty God, the father of our Lord for granting me the grace to attain 80 which qualifies me to enter into the octogenarian club. inom thank him for many things – life, health, food, good children, shelter and sight. I do a lot of reading and writings and inom don’t wear glasses.

    I was born on October 3, in Lagos in an area called Okepopo, Popo Aguda, Lagos Island. inom was told that inom was born at 6am when my mother was on her way to the church for a morning service. She gave birth to me after descending the stairs.

    Kayode Fashola, born on March 13, , in Ijebu Igbo, Nigeria, was a prominent Nigerian singer-songwriter and guitarist, particularly known for his contributions to the jùjú music genre. He began his music career with Moses Olaiya's Federal Rhythm Dandies, a highlife band, before founding his own group, The Music Makers, in His sound, which blended traditional African rhythms with modern influences, made him a significant figure in West African music. Fashola's lyrics often explored spiritual and cultural themes, earning him the nickname "The Prayerful Singer." His band became one of the most popular juju bands of the '70s, thanks to their unique blend of traditional and contemporary styles. Sadly, Fashola passed away on July 8, , under mysterious circumstances, reportedly due to drink poisoning, though there was controversy surrounding his death. His music legacy remains influential in the Nigerian music scene.
