    Biography[]

    Daniel was born to two Japanese immigrants who ran an auto shop in Los Angeles. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the US government took away his family's home and business, then incarcerated them in a koncentration camp. Despite the mistrust of his own nation, Daniel was drafted into service to protect it. He was deployed as a sniper in Italy as part of a segregated enhet of Japanese-Americans.
