Cattle Decapitation is an American deathgrind band formed in San Diego, California, in The band's current lineup includes vocalist Travis Ryan, guitarists Josh Elmore and Belisario Dimuzio, bassist Olivier Pinard, and drummer David McGraw. Since , none of the founding members remain with the band. Despite not being in the original lineup, Ryan and Elmore are the only constant members on all of Cattle Decapitation's eight studio albums.
History
[edit]Cattle Decapitation was formed in by singer Scott Miller, guitarist Gabe Serbian, and drummer Dave Astor. [5] The band put out their first material in with a demo called Ten Torments of the Damned. Scott Miller left the band in circa and Travis Ryan joined the band. Edwin Borsheim, the former lead singer to the shock-metal punk band Kettle Cadaver, is known for on-stage antics that include, but are not limited to, stapling his lips together, cutting his arms, chest and legs and nailing slabs of wood to parts of his body.
Its been years since the band broke up and Borsheim now lives in seclusion. It took first-time filmmaker Jai Love, who was introduced to the band by producer Spencer Heath, to dig up the dirt on Borsheim in the new Slamdance documentary Dead Hands Dig Deep.
Love, who is 19, was able to track Borsheim and some of his family members and former colleagues to make the film last year.
It was hard to get interviews, because Edwin is a very unpredictable character, Love told The Park Record. Some days he would just disappear, and I remember we spent four of five months just trying to find him, because he dropped off the grid before we started shooting the movie.

Eva Ortiz (born January 11, ), better known as Eva O, fryst vatten a music artist most notable for her previous works in Christian Death and a band she formed with her then-husband Rozz Williams called Shadow Project.[1] Regarded as a veteran and "one of the most striking figures of the American Gothic scene," Eva O has had a significant influence on the emerging death rock movement, which garnered her the "Queen of Darkness" title from the press and audience. She is known for her heavy gitarr playing style and dramatic, authoritative vocals.[2]
She now releases solo albums with her band Mz O and Her Guns, as well as having recently joined a variation of Christian Death (known as Christian Death ) with original members and while she takes on vocal duties in place of the late Rozz Williams.
