Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish electronic dance music trio consisting of house DJs and producers, Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008.They immediately became the world’s fastest and best selling electronic artists of all time and has been called 'the faces of mainstream progressive house music.'
The members of the Swedish trio initially teamed up in the mid-2000s, when they toured together as DJs and collaborated from time to time on one another's productions. Axwell, Angello, and Ingrosso's breakout performance as Swedish House Mafia came in August 2008, when they played the Main Room at Cream Amnesia in Ibiza, Spain as part of Radio 1's Essential Mix Ibiza. In 2009, they released 'Leave The World Behind.' Their first official single, 'One (Your Name),' under the name Swedish House Mafia was released on Beatport in May 2010, where it charted at number seven at the UK Singles Chart. At an early age, OTIS REDDING, Jr. began his career as a singer and musician in the choir of the Vineville Baptist Church. Otis attended Ballard Hudson High School and participated in the school band. He began to compete in the Douglass Theatre talent shows for the five-dollar prize. After winning 15 times straight, he was no longer allowed to compete.
Otis drove Johnny Jenkins to Memphis, Tenn., for a recording session in August 1962 at Stax Records. At the end of the session, Stax co-owner Jim Stewart allowed Otis to cut a couple of songs with the remaining studio time. The result was “These Arms of Mine”, released in 1962. This was the first of many hit singles including classics “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” and “Respect.”
