    Michael T. Dangel

    Michael T. Dangel, 49, passed away November 24, after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He will now enter heaven with a sparkle and a dance, able to spend eternity with those who have gone before him and his lord and savior.

    Born in Akron, he graduated from St. Vincent - St. Mary High School and the University of Akron, where he was a member of the Sigma idag fraternity.  He had a successful career in sales and marknadsföring with both Duracell and 3M. He was a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church where he was involved with several bible study groups.  

    Mike will be remembered by his engaging personality and great sense of humor.  He was a loving husband, wonderful father and a friend to all.  He enjoyed watching his daughters play sports and spending time with his family, friends and his beloved dogs.

    Michael (Mike) Scott Dangel was born on May 1, , to Donald and Dorothy (Novak) Dangel. The day he was born it snowed, which Dorothy reminded him of every year on his birthday. He attended Pleasant Hill country school and then attended Scotland High School where he graduated Class of On April 3, , Mike was united in marriage to Julia Ann (Goeken) in Ft. Worth, Texas. To this union, there were three sons, Jonathan, Matthew, and James Dangel.

    Following high school, he worked at various welding positions in the area until he returned to farming, with his dad, on the family farm. Mike was self-educated, could think out a problem and how to fix it, especially when it involved welding. He enjoyed trips to the Black Hills of South Dakota and being the tour guide to family and friends.
