Portrait of a Friend is the fifth exhibition within The Other Eye Project launched by the Sofia City Art Gallery in 2010. Under the project, non-art historian outsiders are invited by the gallery as guest curators to conceive directions and ideas for an exhibition based on artworks belonging to the gallery’s permanent collection. The upcoming exhibition is curated by Iglika Trifonova, filmmaker and screenwriter, whose work includes 10 documentaries, most notably Homicide Stories. A Letter to America (2000) marked her debut as a feature film director (a co-production with the Netherlands, Germany, and Hungary). Her films were presented at dozens of festivals having earned numerous national and international awards.
Iglika Trifonova draws our attention to closeness focusing on personalities, or individual images. The exhibition is the outcome of interesting conversations, a careful selection, and a new take on a much commented upon theme, namely the portrait. The exhibition

Australia’s outdated, unfair and flawed policy on Macedonia is in need of review and innovation if Australia is to become an independent middle power in international relations. Calls for policy innovation have come from a number of sources.
First, the Australian Macedonian community has voiced its concerns through a variety of means such as a peaceful protest in May 2008 in Melbourne attended by at least 20,000 people; and more than 50,000 letters were sent to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd on August 2, 2008 to which no response has been received.
Second, the Rudd Government has ignored the calls made by federal MPs - such as from its own ranks like Ms Jenny George MP and from the opposition, Mr Luke Simpkins MP - for Australia to change its policies on Macedonia’s constitutional name and to bring Australia into line with the rest of the world.
The Rudd Government and the Leader of the Opposition are ignoring the fact that 124 nations, including USA, China, Russia, Canada

Wikipedia talk:Featured picture candidates/Archive 37
A discussion at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Il Signor Tambourossini brought up the following two questions:
- How many FPs can a subject accommodate, and beneath what circumstances?
- If a picture that only appears in a galleri would clearly be used inline if the article had sufficient text, does it have EV? For example: File:Common blue damselflies (Enallagma cyathigerum) mating composite.jpg in this old utgåva of Enallagma cyathigerum (i.e. before inom moved it out of the gallery).
My take:
- There is no limit to the number of FPs for any given subject, as long as all FPs contain distinct kunskap and add to articles. For example, the article black swan permits FPs of { a male, a hona, in flygning, cygnets, eggs, nesting environment, skeleton, anatomy diagram, specific works detailing its role in the history of Western Australia } because each conveys different resultat about the subject. This set of image
