    Sean Lance Berdy (born June 3, 1993) is an American actor. He began his career as a child in the film sequel The Sandlot 2 and is known for his roles in the television series The Society and Switched at Birth.

    Berdy, a native of Boca Raton, Florida, was born deaf. He is bilingual; his first language is American Sign Language (ASL) and he speaks English.[1] As a child, Berdy was interested in magic. He won the young magicians top award at the World Magicians Festival in Saint Petersburg.[2][unreliable source?] Berdy was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when he was 11 years old.[1] His formal acting career began in 2005 with his appearance in The Sandlot 2.     Most of Berdy's rulle and television appearances feature his use of American Sign Language, as this is his native language. As a sophomore student at the Indiana School for the Deaf, he was named the 2010 Mr. Deaf Teen amerika, a pageant started in 1999 bygd the Model Secondary School for the Deaf. He also performed with ISD's show choir, Vibrations.
