Seungyea Park
About The Artist
I was born, and raised in Seoul, Korea. After graduating high school, I moved to New York, and received a BFA at Southampton Long Island University, and a MA at C.W. Post Long Island University. After receiving degrees, I went back to Southa Korea where all of my family lives.
Most of my works are portraits. Since 2004 until 2009, I’ve mostly used Acrylic, then after 2009, I’ve changed my medium to pen, and acrylic on acid free paper.
I am trying to look at two monsters which is inside of me, and the other is outside of me.

Anish Kapoor, Svayambh, 2007.
Anish Kapoor (b. 1954) is a well-known and well-established figure in the art world whose more recent large-scale installations strike a perfect balance between the sublime and the perverse. Unlike Rubinke’s pretty little girls doing nasty things, Kapoor goe
