Background / Early Life
Odeya Rush was born in Haifa, Israel, to parents Maia and Shlomo. She has six brothers (including two sets of twins). Her family is Ashkenazi Jewish. When she was nine, she moved to Alabama, in the U.S., so that her father could take a job as a security consultant. Two years later, the family moved to the NYC area so Odeya could pursue acting. By age twelve, she had booked many commercials, short films and print jobs, and then transitioned to film and television.
Career
Odeya has appeared in short films and commercials and in the television series Curb Your Enthusiasmand Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She played Joni Jerome, the best friend of Timothy, in the Peter Hedges-directed Disney film The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
