Sarajevo Film Festival (August 16–24, 2013), now in its 19th year, is an international spelfilm festival with special focus on the region of Southeast europe, it provides high quality programming, a strong industry segment, an educational platform for ung filmmakers, the presence of numerous representatives of spelfilm industry, rulle authors and media representatives from all over the world, as well as over 100,000 visitors, thus confirming the festival’s ställning eller tillstånd, renowned and recognized bygd film professionals as well as bygd its audience.

CineMart selects 36 film projects for the 26th edition of the co-production market
From almost 500 submissions, 36 international film projects have been selected to be presented at CineMart (25 - 29 January 2009) to an expected 850 international producers, sales agents, distributors and funds. The selection includes project by Zhang Yuan (East Palace, West Palace), Erik Skjoldbjærg (Insomnia), Ruben Östlund (Involuntary), Celina Murga (A Week Alone), Radu Muntean (Boogie) and HIM, a cross-media project by Lance Weiler.
Dutch film makers with projects at CineMart are Norbert ter Hall, Danyael Sugawara, Ricky Rijneke and Guka Omarova.

Theatrefront in Sarajevo
In January 2004, a young Canadian theatre company, Theatrefront, in collaboration with one of the most prominent theatres in Toronto, Tarragon Theatre, presented at the Tarragon WorkSpace a production/workshop: The Sarajevo Project. The project, designed by the artistic director and founder of Theatrefront, Daryl Cloran, featured an international cast (Sanela Babić (Lejla), Alena Džebo (Jasna) and Emir Zec (Emir) from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Holly Lewis (Sarah) and Christopher Morris (Tarik) from Toronto, Ontario, Canada). The multicultural Canadian audience saw the story of a Bosnian exile's return to his homeland. The production in Toronto was the result of a unique partnership between Canadian and Bosnian artists who met for the first time in February 2003 in Sarajevo. As the program note specifies, The Sarajevo Project "combine[s] diverse cultures, languages and theatrical styles into one production
